Your guide to what's on at Spark this holiday season
Spark invites you and your cohort to come and safely take part in the holiday offerings at the science centre. The experience of daytime and evening hours are very different. Be sure to book time ticketed spots to come and enjoy the holidays at Spark!
During the day, Spark offers its galleries, Dome Theatre shows, and the new exhibition, Arctic Voices. Discover the majesty and fragility of the Arctic through interactive exhibits, wildlife biofacts from remarkable animals, and diverse stories from dedicated scientists and the resilient people that inhabit the region. You can get all your gifts at the Spark Store and have lunch in the Eatery. The outdoor Brainasium is open all year too! Spark closes at 4:00 PM daily. Spark is closed during day on Mondays and Tuesdays. View hours here.
During the evening, Spark reopens at 5:00 PM and transforms into a sparkling installation of lights. Walk through a massive shimmering northern lights cave, warm up by a towering LED bonfire, and be spellbound by shooting stars in one of Canada's largest dome theatres. Enjoy a sweet treat from the Eatery, shop in the Spark Store for that perfect science-inspired gift and even a take-home craft to make at home.
