General Admission to TELUS Spark Science Centre is an all-inclusive experience giving visitors full access to all the galleries, Brainasium Outdoor Park and free dome shows.

Members and Children ages 0-2 are free!

Spark Memberships start at $55 and pays for itself in less than 3 visits.

***Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or caretaker.

  • Meet RO5iE the Robot-Coa5ter! A fusion of cutting-edge robotics and heart-pounding thrills, that pushes the boundaries of excitement and sends riders to gravity-defying feats! Spark Members (one rider): $7.00. Spark Members (3 riders): $20.00. Non-Members (one rider): $10.00. Non-Members (3 riders): $25.00
  • Rediscover five core principles of quantum physics, now with a new addition: Entanglement. Explore this endless playground where science and art meet, with each visit offering a fresh journey through landscapes shifting with light, time, and motion in Quantum Sandbox - a vivid Digital Immersion Gallery experience.
  • Grab a seat in the 360 degree, planetarium-style Infinity Dome theatre and experience the captivating world of Indigenous astronomy with 'One Sky Project', chill with 'Jane Goodall' or search the cosmos on a quest for the best 'hazelnuts' in the universe. Go ahead and binge-watch - all dome movies are included with General Admission! Located on the first floor down the hallway by Astronaut Ice Cream café.
  • Looking for virtual reality adventures? Head upstairs to the Open Studio for Spark’s Pixelarius VR and Birdly VR experiences. Soar through the late Jurassic period, save burning buildings, travel to Mars, take sides in an intergalactic food fight, and so much more!
  • Also located upstairs is the newly opened Steven’s Lab - Inspiring the next generation of innovators, it's a place that fuels curiosity, unleashes creativity, and allows for hands-on experimentation with real scientific tools. Check it out every month for new and exciting experiments and visiting scientists!
  • Sink your teeth into (if you're crazy like that) award winning planetary ice cream from the Astronaut Ice Cream café. Yes, even Pluto is included, though it has officially lost is status as a planet. The café also serves up high-quality Monogram specialty coffees and snacks. Located on the first floor, just off the front entrance. Admission is not required for this area. Just register for 45 min free parking and come and enjoy some ice cream.
  • The Spark Eatery celebrates home cooking with a global twist, and a dash of science! Located on the second floor, pizza imported from Italy, snacks, grab-and-go options, and more! Dig into the menu and be sure to try Fry Bread Tacos by Bakers Bannock!
  • The Brainasium Outdoor Park has been freshly upgraded with new paint, murals, concrete paths making the entire park accessible, and a brand new space to share stories has been built with a plant medicine garden called Where We Gather.
  • Be sure to check out the Creative Kids Museum (CKM), a sensory-rich gallery suited for children ages 0-8 years old. CKM is located on the first floor directly behind the front desk.
  • WI-FI - Spark Science has free wi-fi for all. Just open the wi-fi on your mobile device and select #TELUS from the list. Follow the prompts to access free internet and wi-fi on your device while at Spark.

$10 Daily Parking. To pay online with ParkPlus click here. Enter Zone 8310, or use one of the pay machines located near the front doors.

PUBLIC TRANSIT/BIKING

Take the LRT to the Zoo Station and exit the North Zoo pedestrian tunnel (to the right). Walking time to Spark from the Zoo is approximately 10-15 minutes. Spark is located near Calgary's bike path system.

ACCESS 2

Aides with the Access 2 pass assisting guests with disabilities can attend the facility at no cost and must call 403.817.6800 to reserve a complimentary ticket.
