Social
Get access to exclusive social events with employees and volunteers! Participate in ongoing educational workshops and team building events.
Professional
Volunteers who have contributed 100+ hours of service can request a reference letter.
After interviews and reference checks have been completed, successful candidates are offered volunteer positions. A Police Information Check (PIC) is required for volunteers 18 years and older. Volunteers who turn 18 while on the job will need to obtain a PIC. Instructions for obtaining a PIC at no cost will be provided.
New volunteers attend a weekend orientation session.
Volunteers are connected with their supervisors and schedules are established. Job training takes place during the first shift and volunteering begins! A three-month trial period is a part of every volunteer position.
In additional to regular volunteer duties, periodic calls for special event support will be sent to the volunteer community.
