    Parking at TELUS Spark is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Spark Members are not guaranteed parking at TELUS Spark during Beakerhead weekend.

    Cost for parking at Spark is $10.00 per vehicle. Overflow parking is available at the Calgary Zoo for a cost of $14.00.  A shuttle to TELUS Spark is available at the Calgary Zoo parking lo near the giant blue egg.

  • What does my Beakerhead ticket get me?

    Almost everything! But please note: Beakerhead tickets do NOT include food, beverages, Little Modern Beaker Market purchases, parking, or RO5iE the Robo-Coaster rides.

    Discounts and/or group tickets are not available. Children under 3 are FREE.

  • What happens if there are poor weather conditions?

    Beakerhead happens rain or shine! Please be aware that most of the event takes place outside, so be sure to plan accordingly.

  • What is the process for obtaining an adult beverage (18+) at the Beaker Bars?

    When you get in line to enter Beakerhead, make sure you have a valid piece of government issued ID, proving you are over 18 year-old. Once you get to the security check a member of the Beakerhead team will check your ID and provide you with a wristband that indicates you are of legal age to drink at the Beaker Bars. If you don't get a wristband at the gate, there will be wristbands available at the bars, upon supplying your ID.

  • Can my Beaker Day ticket be used to enter Beaker Night or vice versa?

    No. Each Beaker Day and each Beaker Night requires a new ticket. There is no re-entry between the two separate events.

  • Can I stay at TELUS Spark between the Beaker Days and the Beaker Nights?

    No. Guests will be asked to leave each Beaker Day at 4:00 PM. Doors open for Beaker Night at 5:00 PM and requires a different ticket.

  • I'm a TELUS Spark Member, do I need a ticket for Beaker Nights or is it included?

    Spark Members are required to purchase a ticket for Beaker Night as they are considered premium events.

  • Can I bring my own food and beverage to Beakerhead?

    No outside food or beverages are allowed at Beakerhead. Exceptions are made for water bottles, which must be empty prior to entering the facility.

  • Will food and beverage be available during Beakerhead?

    Absolutely! There will be three specialty food booths, plus a variety of food trucks, the Spark Eatery and the Astronaut Ice Cream café.

  • What should I do if I need assistance during Beakerhead?

    Find one of our friendly staff members or a Beakerhead volunteer, who will get you immediate help.

  • Is Beakerhead accessible for people with disabilities?

    Yes, the event site is wheelchair accessible, and there are reserved parking spots for people with disabilities. If you need additional assistance, please notify a Beakerhead staff member or Beakerhead volunteer person upon arrival.

  • Can I bring my pet to Beakerhead?

    Only designated service dogs are permitted during Beakerhead.

  • Is Beakerhead an all-ages event?

    Yes! However, guests who wish to purchase alcohol need to provide a piece of valid Government ID proving they are 18+.

  • Can I leave and re-enter Beakerhead?

    Guests are only allowed to leave and re-enter during the time allotted on their ticket. If guests wish to re-enter they must line-up again.

  • What is Beakerhead's policy on smoking and vaping?

    Consuming tabacco and marijuana substances are not permitted within Beakerhead. Guests will need to move off Spark property to the designated smoking area.

  • What happens if I lose my child?

    Please find your nearest Beakerhead staff or volunteer and let them know immediately.

  • Does Beakerhead have a lost and found?

    Yes! All lost and found items will be located at the front ticketing desk.
