Children

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Valid Dates

Annual memberships are valid for 12 months from the time of purchase.

Renewed memberships are valid for 12 months from original expiry date. Gift membership vouchers expire one year from date of purchase. Annual memberships are valid for one year from the date the voucher is redeemed. Gift membership vouchers can be applied to new or renewing memberships.

Family Membership

All people named in a family membership must live at the same address.

Membership Cards

Each member will be issued their own card and this must be produced and scanned upon each visit.

TELUS Spark reserves the right to request identification when a membership card is presented.

Any card issued with your membership is for use by the named holder only, and is not transferable under any circumstances. Any misuse of the membership card will result in it being confiscated with no refund. The card cannot be given away, sold or transferred. Copies of membership cards are not valid for admission.

If you do not have your card with you on the day of admission you will be required to provide valid proof of identification for member admission. Additional member privileges will not apply without a valid membership card.

Membership cards cannot be used toward fees for school programs or other group visits. Checking in separately as a member during a school visit removes the member from the group visit and all associated programs.

Membership cards are not valid after their expiry date.

Guest Passes

Only members 18 years of age or older may purchase a transferable Guest Pass. Guest Passes are valid for admission only. Guests must accompany a TELUS Spark member on their visit. There is a $5 fee to replace a Guest Pass. Copies of Guest Passes are not valid for admission.

Parking

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and availability is not guaranteed. Free parking privileges for members online registration.

Reciprocal Admission Programs

The Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC), Association of Science and Technology Centres (ASTC) and Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) Reciprocal Agreements are not managed by TELUS Spark and are subject to change without notice.

Special Events and Travelling Exhibitions

A membership may not be valid for entry to certain special events or ticketed exhibitions and this will be advertised as such. There will be an additional fee payable for member entry to such events and exhibitions.

General Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

TELUS Spark reserves the right to change operating hours, membership benefits and prices at any time and without prior notice.

We reserve the right to refuse entry and/or cancel the membership without refund. In particular if the card holder, or anyone accessing the Calgary Science Centre facilities by virtue of a membership, behaves in a threatening or abusive way to staff, contractors, guests or the TELUS Spark collection, or breaches the terms and conditions relating to access to the facilities.

TELUS Spark reserves the right to close or remove some exhibits or areas within the centre partly, entirely or at certain times of the year for various reasons including, but not limited to special events and maintenance.

Privacy

TELUS Spark will not rent, sell or trade your personal information to anyone.
