Celebrate Earth Day all weekend long at TELUS Spark Science Centre and learn why this giant rock we call home is so important to look after.

From learning about how sustainability is needed to create a thriving future, to the premiere of the newest Infinity Dome film Jane Goodall – Reasons for Hope, there’s so much to celebrate!

Learn all about sustainable living practices and waste reduction strategies with industry leaders from Green Calgary, Sustainable Calgary, United Nations University (UNU) Hub at UCalgary, the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada, and so much more.

Plus, get hands-on by starting your own seedling to take home and nurture, helping to reduce CO2 emissions!

Come together to celebrate the beauty of our home planet, Earth, and learn how we can all play a part in ensuring a brighter future for generations to come.

Premiering just in time to celebrate Earth Day weekend! With stories such as the Northern Bald Ibis’ migration over the Alps and the re-introduction of the American Bison by the Blackfeet Nation, Jane revolutionized how we view the world around us.

This activity is appropriate for all ages (guests under 5 will need parental assistance). Limited spots are available. Sign up at Steven’s Lab to reserve your spot.

      Yes, food and beverages are permitted in the Atrium and Inspiration Stage.

    • How much is parking?

      Parking is a flat rate of $10, or FREE with a Spark Membership. Parking is managed by Calgary Parking through ParkPlus. Pay machines are located near the front doors, Zone 8310. To pay online with ParkPlus click here.
