Visitor behaviour scientist

Availability 

  • Start date: September 10
  • Must commit to 2-4 shifts a month, Shifts are three hours each
  • Must have some weekday morning and weekend availability
  • 6-8 month duration with possibility to extend
  • Mandatory orientation, September 8, 10am-4pm

Position Description

TELUS Spark is looking for an individual with a strong interest in research and learning about new and exciting topics! As an Exhibit Betterment Volunteer you will help our staff improve exhibit development by researching different STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) related topics. You'll get to work closely with our Exhibits Team and learn long side us, as well as impact the future direction of our projects. Your research will help our team find innovative strategies for giving our guests the best experience possible!  

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visitor observations, visitor surveys and interviews (templates will be provided to you)
  • Collect and record data taken in through evaluation techniques
  • Review observations and evaluation techniques with supervisor on a regular basis
  • Help compile and present the data in a report, as needed

Requisites
