Help give kids the gift of science!

You can open the door to discovery.

There’s a moment we watch for at Spark. A child leans closer to an exhibit.

Their eyes widen. Something clicks. For a moment, they are not just visiting a science centre. They see themselves as a scientist.

For students on a Spark Learning Connections field trip, that moment can open a new world of possibilities. They explore hands-on exhibits, connect science to what they are learning in school and discover that science is something they can understand, enjoy and use.

But bussing and admission costs put field trips out of reach for many underserved schools. Without donor support, some students could go an entire school year without a single hands-on science experience.

That’s where you come in.

What One Day at Spark Can Mean

Their first field trip. Their first bus ride.

For one class, a Spark Learning Connections visit was their first field trip of the school year. Only two students had ever visited Spark, and none had been on a school bus before.

“It was our first field trip this year, and there were only two students who had ever been to Spark, but no one had been on a bus before! So, it was a BIG deal!”

Their teacher described the entire experience as fantastic, from the bus ride and classroom program to the time spent exploring Spark.

Your donation can make a day like this possible for another classroom.

“Spark was the field trip of my life. I will never forget this place and the things I learned.”

Help the next child see what’s possible.

A field trip can do more than teach a child something new. It can build confidence, awaken curiosity and change how that child sees their future.
