From National Geographic comes the giant-screen documentary Robots, an eye-popping exploration of cutting-edge humanoid robots from NASA’s space handyman Robonaut to eerily human-looking androids. Hosted by the gentlemanly humanoid robot, “aRTy” takes viewers on a guided tour of a dozen superstar robots from around the world to illustrate state of the art of robotic design and engineering (and what it takes to build a “bot.”)

The Google Lunar XPRIZE movie chronicles teams around the world competing for the largest incentivized prize in history, by landing a robotic spacecraft on the Moon for the first time in more than 40 years.

Live Planetarium Show: Our Solar System | Spotlight Series
This fresh take on the traditional planetarium show shines a spotlight on the curiosity that has driven the exploration of our solar system and asks “what are you curious about?”
What compels us to look to the sky and wonder? Using the immersive nature of our Digistar 5 planetarium students will take a journey through the sky to distant moons and planets while becoming more familiar with our solar system and its pace in the known universe.
Space Exploration: To Mars and Beyond
Within the next 30 years, humans will be walking on Mars and your students’ generation will be the pioneers making that next giant leap for humankind. The road to Mars has been 60 years in the making; through innovation and problem solving, past generations have laid the groundwork to get there. Using the immersive environment of our planetarium, experience what it will take to get to Mars and beyond our solar system, and discover the challenges that still lie ahead.

Fly through our home Galaxy, the Milky Way, to explore stars, nebulas, supernovas and black holes! Join us for this live show, exclusive to TELUS Spark, as we travel hundreds of light years into deep space to see where stars are born, where they die, and to discover how they create the energy and elements that make all life possible (including you and me). The journey ends with a plunge into a black hole, so hold on tight!
National Geographic's Pandas allows viewers exclusive access to Chengdu- China’s extraordinary giant panda breeding center. The film follows the lives of three young pandas as they leave the public spotlight at Chengdu and take their first steps on an extraordinary journey for their species. From tender moments to tenterhooks, every key event will be captured as China prepares to set them free.

BUGS! A Rainforest Adventure
April - June 2019
Bugs! is a live-action nature drama projected in awe inspiring, totally immersive Full Dome. Shot on location in Borneo and in a purpose-built studio in Oxford, England, Bugs! explores the dramatic and savage lives of an Old World praying mantis and a beautiful butterfly, known by their Latin names, Hierodula and Papilio. This 40-minute feature combines incredible footage with cutting-edge digital technology to deliver a fantastically entertaining and enlightening experience about the little guys in life.
