Between our five exciting galleries, Dome Theatre, outdoor park, an out of this world travelling exhibit and a tasty new dining concept, there is A LOT to see and do this spring at the science centre. Here are just a few of the things you’ll want to make sure you fit into your next TELUS Spark visit:

Discover something new about yourself at Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience

As a Starfleet cadet you will go through seven different zones that will test your skills and personality to determine where you fit as a member of Starfleet. There are no wrong answers and lots of fun activities to try, making this a great experience for lifelong fans as well as those new to the world of Star Trek.

Busy during our regular hours and can’t find the time to come to the exhibit? We’ve extended our hours on most Thursday nights to give people of all ages the opportunity to check out Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience at a more convenient time! Visit our website for hours.

Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience will be open until June 4.

Shopping, anyone?

After a brief closure, the TELUS Spark retail store is back and better than ever. With a new look and even more exciting merchandise, the store is your one stop shop for everything and anything Star Trek and science. From collectables to dog collars, new items are arriving daily.

We hope you’re hungry

Discover what’s next

A visit to TELUS Spark isn’t complete until you’ve immersed yourself in a Dome Theatre experience. Newest to the Dome is Space Next, told from the point of view of the first generation born outside of Earth. Glimpse into the future of space development with this display of interplanetary excellence.

Happy Birthday… to us!

We were founded as the Centennial Planetarium back in 1967, making this our 50th Anniversary. We kicked off the celebrations with a Star Trek event at the beginning of February – but we’re not done celebrating yet. It’s also Canada’s 150th and we’re celebrating 150 years of innovation. Needless to say, this party is going on all year. Stay tuned for exciting events and exhibits…
