When you first arrive, there may be a line up to pay for parking at the ParkPlus machines. Get inside the building quicker by paying for parking in one of three different ways:
a. Pay using the app: Use your ParkPlus prepaid cell phone account. If you don’t have one already, get one here.
b. Pay using your internet browser: Enter vpm.parkplus.ca into your smartphone browser, enter 8310 as the ‘Zone Number’ and then enter your license plate. Follow the rest of the steps and then press ‘Proceed to Payment’. You’ll be redirected to a secure site to enter your credit card information.
c. Pay at the end of the night: You don’t have to pay the second you arrive. You actually have until midnight to pay for your parking.
Speaking of parking, our parking lot might be full when you arrive. If that’s the case, keep calm and science on. Park in the Zoo parking lot and catch the shuttle to TELUS Spark.
Step 1: Park in the Zoo parking lot.
Step 2: Pay for parking at the Zoo (their zone is 8301).
Step 3: Head to the blue egg structure in the Zoo parking lot.
Step 4: Get on the free shuttle that arrives every 15 minutes.
Step 5: Get off at TELUS Spark and let the exploring begin.
TELUS Spark is easily accessible by Calgary Transit. Hop on the CTrain, get off at the Zoo stop and then catch the shuttle at the blue egg structure. If you prefer, you can also walk from the Zoo stop to TELUS Spark. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk.
With so many options, why take the risk of driving under the influence? Take the CTrain (and the shuttle), catch a cab or carpool.
We encourage everyone to wear what they feel comfortable in. You’ll be climbing, walking and exploring so it’s a good idea to be prepared. After all, it’s difficult to climb a 36-foot tower in uncomfortable shoes.
Adults Only Night officially kicks off at 6:00 p.m. but that doesn’t mean you have to arrive exactly at 6:00 p.m. While we do recommend arriving at your earliest convenience so you get the most out of the evening, if you can’t make it until 7:00, 7:30 or 8:00, it’s no problem.
